ABOUT THE AUTHOR
“I started writing when I was a young teen, inspired by authors like Christopher Pike. I was obsessed with dark, twisty stories and supernatural themes even back then. But like a lot of creatives, I was told writing wouldn’t pay the bills, so I chased a career in journalism and storytelling through other means. I’ve spent years writing and producing professionally, but it wasn’t until the world slowed down during COVID that The First Sin and my dream of becoming an author returned.
I've always loved the idea of vampires but I often wished someone would re-imagine their whole origin story. And then one day... I did. It just sort of came to me, like when life just comes out of nowhere and hits you right in the face. What if the vampire origin story started with mankind's first sin. That idea wouldn’t let me go. Over the next few years more pieces began to fall into place. But it wasn't until I discovered the dark romance genre that it felt complete. I knew then, that I had finally found the piece of my story that was missing and from there everything just fit and "The First Sin" was born.”

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
Eden: The daughter of Adam & Eve and the result of mankind's original sin. She is turned into an immortal assassin (vampire) by the devil himself. Her character is deeply complex: a woman forged in blood and betrayal. At her core, she is a paradox: beautiful yet monstrous, empathetic yet merciless. She spent centuries running from what she was, trying not to kill but as with every living creature there is a darkness that resides in her that she cannot deny.
Lucien: The Devil who can't let her go. Seductive, cunning, and endlessly dangerous—but beneath his sharp tongue and cruel smile is a man obsessed. When he turns Eden he leaves a piece of himself with her. She inevitably becomes the crack in his armor, the weakness he guards like a weapon. He doesn't just love her—he claims her. Body, soul, sin, and shadow. But his love isn't gentle. It's consuming. He wants every part of her, even the pieces she hides from herself. Lucien is not the hero. He is the monster you fall for.
Michael: The angel willing to fall to save her. Michael has been sent to end the threat Eden poses to mankind but what happen's when an angel falls in love? Caught in the ruins of his own righteousness, his love for one woman has him questioning everything. This character will answer the question: What happens when the purest light is forced to face the darkest truth.
What the author hopes readers take from this book-
“I think a lot of us like to run from the dark parts of ourselves. This book asks, ‘What if you didn’t? What if you embraced them?’ That’s what The First Sin is really about. It’s fantasy, it’s romance, it’s bloody—but at its heart, it’s about the parts of us that refuse to die."
